Now Open! Made in the Glade on Etsy!

Yeah it's been 4 years since my last post. And of course I have gone in a completely different direction… Oh boy. I did it. Just like 5 million other people. I did it. I opened an Etsy shop, because I somehow seem to think, somebody else might like something I made. And then do the unexpected. Buy it. Crazy I know. But it's a hobby. I make things. Just like the other 5 million other people.

It brings me joy.
 It releases stress.
 I escape in it.
 I feel accomplished.
I made something with my hands.

Then it's complete and it sits there. Sometimes I gift them, but I think, oh God I hope they like it. But I tend to have more than I gift. So now, I'm selling to support my hobby. Because I love to find new things to make and do. Challenge myself. I'm starting with some jewelry I made. I see things, and instead of buying it, I think "I can do that" and go do it. Coming soon will be some wine bottle that I cut into different creations.

 Here are a few examples:
Broken shells I found in Orange Beach. The colors were great.
I love antique stores. Found these antique keys in Kentucky.

Each piece is handmade and unique.

Now, I am not a great photographer. I will get better. (Maybe) But I planned this on a whim and just quickly did it. Hope you like it, if not, oh well, just a few minutes of your life was wasted. If you do, click on the Etsy badge and feel free to browse. I would appreciate it.

What hobbies do you have? Who else out there has braved this? Any tips?
